Studio Supervisor
4 Years 4 Months- Independently opening/closing the shop
- I'm currently trusted to unlock the doors in the morning, handle money, and set the studio up for customers all on my own - and then lock up at night. Some days I’ll open, run the studio, and then close all by myself.
- Running summer camps and parties for both children and adults
- Two weeks of the summer the shop is full of kids for summer camp, the last two years I’ve been helping teach them how to paint, fuse glass, and craft mosaic artworks. The rest of the year I often run birthday parties, bachelorette parties, and more. I even got to help 30 women celebrate Holi last year!
- Executed pottery painting techniques for customer projects
- Independently loading and unloading electric kilns
- One of my responsibilities is glazing and firing pottery. I’m trusted to use a Dremel and sand down sharp corners on bisque-ware, so it’s safe for customers.
