  • Intimate knowledge of all Beckman Coulter instrumentation at Nebraska Medicine including DxA automated track, DxI800, DxI9000, AU5822, AU5812, and Remisol middleware software.
  • Completed validation process for updated Methotrexate reagent with some assistance from the Chemistry Lead.
  • Was a superuser for DxI9000, AU5812, and Osmometer implementation. Responsibilities included undergoing more in-depth training and training all staff on new instrument before go-live.

  • Performs several extra tasks routinely for the Chemistry department that include: lot to lot comparisons for AU and DxI reagents, biannual linearity studies, biannual carry over studies, ability to refactor certain analytes on the AU5800s.

  • Worked on all 3 shifts and has therefore performed most maintenance and quality control on all analyzers. Understands unique needs and temperaments of each shift.
