I've worked at multiple retail stores and restaurants and am very personable with good critical thinking skills. I am lift truck certified and I have multiple certifications in welding which I am continuing to get until I have my associates degree. I have no problem working in any conditions and can carry out tasks efficiently and effectively.
As a drive operator at Purina it is your job to receive ingredient trucks and make sure that it gets to its destination. When a truck arrives we take their paperwork and record any information required for our logs. After We go up into the mill and change diverters that determine the flow of ingredients through pipes to its desired bin. All ingredients are carried through horizontal drag conveyers and then carried to the leg where the ingredients go up and dump into a turn-head which sets the direction of flow through the pipes. We monitor the measurements in the bins and assure ingredients are stored in the correct bin as-well as making sure our mixers have enough ingredients to make product. We clean and maintain any of the conveyers and drags and make sure the pipes have a good flow. We clean the facilities as well as we can and make sure all areas stay in organized state. There’s a lot more to the job so feel free to ask more questions in person, here are some other shorter summaries of what I do in the mill
