My role as a Airplane Mechanic Apprentice.

• I work on any part of the aircraft.
• I listen to the IA mechanic that I'm learning from.
• I keep track of all the repairs and installations I accomplish. Im working towards 3,000 hours to become a A and P mechanic.
• I use hand tools like Ratchets, sockets, wrenches, pliers, screw drivers, impacts, drills, etc.
• Ive taken a starter out and back in. I took a exhaust apart and back together. I've work on taken panels off and back on. Took a governor out on a dual engine conquest.
• I work there only one day a week. I work on my day off from my full time job.

My duties as a fueler.

• I make sure the ramp is clear for airplanes to park.
• I marshall in and park aircraft.
• I will make radio contact with them before they land. I will ask them what services they are requesting.
• I will then get them fueled up and what ever else they need.
• I will use av fuel to run a transaction for there fuel. I can ring them up for hangar rental, fuel, oil, rental space, parking fee, callout fee.
• I fill our 100LL and Jet A truck about once a day.
• I use the tiffin aire to pull planes in out of hangar. I use it daily.

My role as a Tech that worked for the NDOT.

• I was in charge of watching a asphalt paving crew.
• You would make sure the crew was paving at the right depth, width and tempature of asphalt.
• I would also check the pitch at which they were paving. I would run asphalt samples to Grand Island.
• I would keep track of how many hours we worked, what they accomplished for the day, how many workers there. I would also take notes every single day. About a page long of what whent on, if there were any accidents or problems.
• We would usually start about 6 A.M. and work till 7-8 P.M. Monday-Friday
• I would collect tickets from truck drivers. How much asphalt they were carrying. I would then take the total and run it in my excel spreadsheet. To then get a tons/station. I would put the tickets into a folder. I would collect tack tickets, wheat seeding tickets, paint tickets, and material tickets.
• I would keep track of all of this in software and then upload to our superiors.
