Manages the UIC (Underground Injection Control) Class II program by regulating saltwater disposal wells and enhanced oil recovery wells pursuant to the rules and regulations of the commission. Works with operators to maintain compliance and ensure proper handling of produced water injection while maintaining groundwater integrity in the state. Works with the Environmental Protection Agency to ensure state program compliance through biannual reports.

Manages field and reservoir operations by regulating oil and gas operators pursuant to the rules and regulations of the commission. Conducts technical reviews to analyze risk and and provide benefit for the citizens of the state. Enforces compliance with operators to protect correlative rights of mineral and surface owners while maximizing safe and proper production of mineral resources.

Conducted qualitative and quantitative experiments to maximize enhanced oil recovery through secondary and tertiary completion by manipulating reservoir wettability.

Measured rock-oil-water interactions in a lab setting that demanded high levels of precision and accuracy. Conducted in-depth research of inorganic geochemical processes relating to reservoir fluids and sedimentary systems. Developed the Liquid-Liquid Extraction technique into a commercially viable method of directly measuring wettability that provides precision and accuracy equal to or better than industry standards while requiring significantly less time and cost.

Designed completion and/or injection fluid programs for conventional and unconventional reservoirs throughout the western hemisphere.

Produced frac gel for use in unconventional completions in eastern Wyoming and northeast Colorado. Maintained inventory in a warehouse setting. Organized logistics for incoming ingredients and outgoing product. Provided quality control for all incoming and outgoing products.
