Nebraska FFA State Degree

My time in FFA in high school as well as my faith set the foundation for my ideals, values, work ethic, as well as leadership and communication skills. I was a part of the Ogallala FFA for 5 years and was able to obtain degrees all the way to the state level. I was an officer for 2 of the 5 years. In this time I learned how to lead a group of people, speak in public settings, and stand out as an individual. I competed in competitions, led leadership conferences, and always had a chip on my shoulder to better myself and my community.

Student Senate

I am apart of the Student Senate at Southeast Community college. In this group I relay information from what happens in our classroom to the board of executives at our school. I provide information about how well we are doing and where we can improve.

PSAN

I am apart of the student board of PSAN (Professional Surveyors Association of Nebraska. I am an officer and conduct regular meeting once a month in class to evaluate our studies and create a document to bring to the PSAN meeting in the winter to show the board that our schooling is relevant and efficient.
