My name is Jeff McCoy and I've been a carpenter for around 28 years. ( I'm 46 years old) I think I have seen and done about everything with the trade. I've ran multiple crews over the years on many different size projects. I worked with Andersen Construction for around 15 years before I decided to go out on my own. After working for myself over a few years I'm ready to just go back full time. I didn't realize how much goes into it. I really had a problem finding and keeping any decent help. That made it difficult on me scheduling certain jobs. I would love to get on with Dicon and feel I would be a great hire for the team. Eventually I would like to feel a Superintendent job and be a team leader. I'm good with teaching any younger carpenters things that I've picked up over the years. A friend of mine Paul Britt just got hired full time with you guys. We framed houses together for about 5 years in the early 2000's and I think he would say what kind of worker I am and my skill set. Would love to answer any questions you have. Thank you!
I worked at Andersen Construction for around 15 years. They are a general contractor out of Council Bluffs, Iowa. I was the lead carpenter and ran many smaller jobs for them. I worked on tons of big projects for them.
