• Managed relationships with contractors to ensure compliance with labor agreements. We did this by helping and hosting labor management meeting.
• Negotiated contract terms, fostering collaboration between union members and employers. I have helped and been part of the negotiating team, for over 14 years.
• Helped Developed training programs to enhance skill development among carpenters. We did this by Teaching EPIC classes, and Be more than a bystander.
• Coordinated grievance processes, resolving conflicts efficiently and maintaining workplace harmony.
• Implemented safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety standards. I also help Teach OSHA 10 and 30 , I am OSHA 500 Certified
• Coordinated events such as career fairs and collage events or conferences on behalf of the Council, showcasing our training and education to drive new business opportunities.
• I was tasked with researching the nonunion market, and help bring small minority business to our program.

Started My apprenticeship program with Kiewit construction.

I started doing doors and hardware and I specialized in commercial hardware for UNMC.

After my 3rd year as an apprentice I was running work for them.

I finished my apprenticeship program in three and a half years.

I was also starting to translate OSHA programs in Spanish for Kiewit construction
