I work part time as a Spanish Tutor a few hours a week however; I have been looking to work/assist older folks on a part time basis.
There are some shared skillsets for a Spanish Tutor and Home Care Assessor. Listening, Patience, Empathy, the ability to ask questions and the attention to detail. Additionally, based upon the responses, determine what the individual needs will be in order to create a successful environment. These skills were developed/refined with my own parents and continue to practice and use the skillsets today as a Spanish Tutor.
