I am a Garden Club teacher at Lakeview Elementary and Willard Community Center both in Lincoln, NE. I work with the students directly with teaching them the basics of growing a school garden, pollinator garden and sustainable habits for the school. And as well at Willard Community Center in the Summer time from June-August. Those duties entail

* Creating and teaching a curriculum that bases around creating and sustaining a garden at any age with emphasis on community and sustainability.

* Allowing the children in the programs to help create, plant and take care of the gardens on a weekly basis as a group. Which would entail watering, pruning, tilling, weeding and just checking for all around good growth.

* As we grow the food over the season, we harvest together and I either distribute the produce directly to the children and families or we cook together as a group at Willard. As a way of celebrating their hard work and accomplishments while creating fun ways to use the grown produce.

I’ve been a self employed hairstylist since 2012 and prior to that I worked retail in a salon for 6 years. The duties would entail

* Answering the phone and making appointments for the stylists.

* Maintaining a clean area in the salon and retail front.

* Helping customers and clients with any questions that regarded the products that we sold at the salon with numerous brands.

* Helping and customer with any questions regarding hair concerns or customer service needs for the salon.
