I've been working as a travel Radiology Tech at St Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO since August of 2023 and I am currently on my 3rd assignment with this hospital.

Duties include

-Diagnostic imaging

-Trauma Cases

-Surgical Cases

-And various other duties like transporting and helping other modalities as needed.

A fast paced pain management practice, which included but not limited to:

-Utilizing C-arms during cases

-Setting up the supplies for the doctor before each case.

-Greeting patients and getting them ready for their procedures.

-Stocking supplies and making sure the case matched their consultation to ensure accuracy

• Facilitated positive care experience for patients by establishing rapport and applying interpersonal skills to reduce anxiety and promote cooperation, along with diagnostic imaging duties

Travel Radiologic Technologist positiion

-Diagnostic imaging and Or cases were my primary duty with both hospitals.

-My Contract was canceled early due to the Covid epidemic.

• Use of mobile (portable) imaging at patient's bedside.

• Worked extensively in surgical and pain management cases with C-arms
• Also performed portable diagnostic post-op and other radiologic exams

• Mostly worked with C-arm and portable radiologic equipment in surgery.
• Responsible for training and operating the O-arm in surgical cases. The O-arm is a portable Cat scan machine used mostly to ingrate with surgical navigation systems.
