Equus is a subcontracted agency by DHHS, facilitating and operating their Employment First program. In my role I was in charge of the supervision of the case managers in Hall and Adams counties which reached throughout central Nebraska. My duties included direct support to case managers, DHHS documentation and reports, maintaining office safety procedures, collaboration with Equus employees statewide to ensure we were staying in compliance with DHHS guidelines and regulations. This required extreme organization, time management, HIPPA compliance, and the ability to be a strong support system to my team.

• Developed and implemented strategic prevention programs addressing substance abuse within the community. This was primarily focused on youth prevention as well as assisting in the needs of local recovery groups.
• Collaborated with local organizations to enhance outreach efforts and resource accessibility. Collaboration through the United Way of South Central Nebraska was essential.
• Led staff and board in assessing community needs and formulating targeted intervention strategies. Surveys of both high school and college age students were regularly completed to ensure updated data.
• Trained and mentored staff as well as board members on best practices for substance abuse prevention initiatives. Quarterly community trainings and informative events were also offered.

• I researched funding opportunities to align proposals with organizational goals, when hired by the agency or organization.
• Developed thourough and informative narratives to enhance grant applications' effectiveness.
• Generated collaboration with local stakeholders to gather necessary data for proposal submissions.
• Edited and formatted grant proposals to ensure clarity and professionalism.
