During my lab coursework, I gained hands-on experience with various techniques, including microscopy, spectrophotometry, PCR, and gel electrophoresis. I developed strong skills in sterile technique, pipetting, and solution preparation. Additionally, I worked with data analysis tools such as Excel, SPSS, and statistical software to interpret experimental results. My experience also includes writing detailed lab reports, conducting literature reviews, and collaborating with peers on research projects.
As a Patient Attendant, my primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and well-being of patients. We provide direct supervision for individuals who are at risk of falls, pulling out medical devices, or are under suicide precautions. My role is to maintain a secure environment while offering support and reassurance to patients in need.
As a Peer Academic Leader, I worked one-on-one with students who speak English as a second language, guiding as they navigated college life. My role was to support them academically and personally, serving as both a mentor and a peer to help them succeed in their college journey.
