Dedicated Maintenance Supervisor bringing many years of positive maintenance team leadership. Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance scheduling as well as unscheduled repairs to minimize downtime. Brings solid commitment to quality and efficiency. On the corporate side of things, I did way more than maintenance management; I dealt with all the problems, from injuries of employees to mechanical failures, and in 22 years of service with the company, we were only shut down once for a day for things beyond our control.
I was involved in buying equipment, fabrication, and installation of all the equipment. I set up most of the vendors for the maintenance end and helped the plant manager with outsourcing and finding materials, or whatever was needed. I was directly involved with state entities with on-site storage and amounts that had to be filed with the state and local counties. I also dealt with the insurance inspections for the whole plant.
I know I have no degree, and schooling was just credit hour classes for classes that had a direct association with or plant. I have 22 years of knowledge of plant operations from start to finish, dealing with about everything from energy-saving initiatives to dealing with OSHA, and everything in between.
