As a Corrections Sergeant I served 5 years in good standing on the Special Operations Response Team. In that time I completed the Nebraska State Patrol Sniper School in the top 3 participants. I instructed cadets from several Law Enforcement Agencies and departments from multiple states in SORT Basic Academies.


As a Mechanical Insulator I completed my apprenticeship at the top of my class, earning Apprentice of the Year Award. I then traveled to Green Bay, Wisconsin to compete in the Master Apprentice Competition. Then as a Journeyman was elected to the Local Union Executive Board for a 1 year term.
