I lead a team of warehouse staff, ensuring all daily tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. I work closely with Purchasing and Production Control to coordinate and communicate both domestic and international shipments for on-time delivery. I ensure the accuracy of shipping and receiving records, including manifests, invoices, purchase orders, and other documentation. I collaborate with Purchasing to resolve issues related to received goods, such as damages, shortages, data inaccuracies, and non-conformance to purchase orders or specifications. I train and coordinate material handling employees in warehouse procedures and software transactions related to material movement. I also assist in tracking employee performance, attendance, and adherence to company policies, providing support to management in addressing these matters. Additionally, I work closely with the Inventory Control team to resolve inventory discrepancies and assist with year-end counts.

Oversee the receiving process, including unloading, unpacking, and verifying the quantity and quality of incoming shipments. Collaborate with vendors and carriers to schedule deliveries and ensure timely receipt of goods. Perform thorough inspections of received items to confirm they meet quality standards and match purchase orders. Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or defects promptly to relevant departments and suppliers. Accurately document received goods by updating inventory management systems, purchase orders, packing slips, and other relevant records. Maintain organized and up-to-date records for audit and reference purposes. Collaborate with the Inventory team to properly allocate received items to appropriate storage locations. Regularly monitor inventory levels and assist in conducting cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain accurate stock levels.

Continuously evaluate and refine receiving procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Identify opportunities for process optimization and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices. Provide guidance and training to receiving team members, ensuring they understand proper receiving procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.

Prepare and package orders for shipments, print order delivery notes, prepare invoices, packslips and bill of lading, and accurately verifying quantity and condition of materials. Request trucks for shipments. Operate forklift and load trailers, maintain records of shipping instructions, and ensure inventory accuracy cycle counting.

Receive purchase orders into the computer system, unloading packages off trucks, unpackage and put away in designated areas, Pick customer orders, enter shipments into computer system, prepare and package orders to company guidelines, perform physical inventory counts in warehouse as required.

Print work orders upon arrival, transfer product from production freezer to picking freezer. Pick finished goods orders, build and wrap pallets. Complete weekly cycle counts. Notify Warehouse manager and quality assurance of any quality issues. Operate Load and unload trailers as needed. Operate sit down, stand up, reach forklifts, and electric pallet jacks. Train new hire employees.
