I am married and have 3 small children. Our family often travels to visit our various family members. Ideally we would be living closer to family. We enjoy traveling together, outdoor activities, sports. I am an avid golfer and otherwise focus on work, family, health/well being.
As my motivation is to be closer to family, I would entertain either interventional or non-invasive positions.
Currently I maintain board certification in both cardiology and interventional cardiology.
This has been my first and only job out of fellowship. Roughly half my work has been interventional focus and the other half more general cardiology. From the onset I have been part of our Structural Heart Team and performed TAVR. We are a busy referral center and our interventional service has ample exposure to critical ill patients and need for MCS/ECMO.
We have a large outreach service and therefore I have been accustomed to working in various clinical settings (small rural hospitals, large referral center, clinics). I was the on the physician EMR (EPIC) advisory committee.
Though I enjoy my job and colleagues, my family and I would like to be closer to our families, and thus I am considering jobs in those locations.
